Basic Warranty Information

This Warranty applies to Solar Hot Water Heating Systems installed in a single family dwelling only. A separate warranty policy applies for Solar Hot Water Heating Systems installed in commercial, industrial or multi-family dwellings.

Infinergy (Chromagen New Zealand) warrants to and for the sole benefit of the original purchaser of Solar Hot Water Heating Systems sold by Infinergy, that the system will remain free from defects and workmanship under normal usage in accordance with the guidelines set out in the Solar Water Heating Systems literature. This warranty will remain in effect after installation for the following respective terms:

• Chromagen Solar Collectors - Seven (7) Years

• Chromagen Solar Hot Water Cylinders (excluding valves, elements and thermostats) - Five (5) Years. This warranty is only valid beyond five years if evidence of replacement of the sacrificial anode within the first five years after installation.

• Solar Smart Controller - Three(3) Years

• All other componentsof the Solar Hot Water System including valves, elements and thermostats - One (1) Year

Infinergy shall provide parts required to repair, or at infinergy's option replace any part of the system which upon examination by infinergy is determined by infinergy to have been defective during the applicable warranty period. The replacement component shall carry the balance of the original warranty period.

The Water Heater must be installed in accordance with Infinergy's installation instructions along with relevant local and statutory requirements. Damage caused either directly or indirectly due to leakage of the water heater and breakage of collector glass due to vandalism or storms including hail are not within the scope of this warranty

The Solar Water Heater must be installed by an Thermomax accredited Installer and in accordance with Kingspans installation instructions along with relevant local and statutory requirements.

Vacuum Tubes: Kingspan Renewable now offer a Twenty (20) Year manufactures warranty on vacuum tubes.

Collector mainfolds: five (5) Years

Dual Stream Pump station: Five (5) Years

Expansion Vessels: Five (5) Years

Connection kits: Five (5) Years

Steca Solar Controller: Five (5) Years
